The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the Yamaha FJ 1200, models from 1988 to 1990. This product enables a solid and safe attachment of a corresponding tank bag directly on the motorcycle.

Differences to other tanking systems

Compared to the Lock-IT fueling from Hepco & Becker, which also work with magnets for centering, the Basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. However, both systems use the same model -specific metal ring.

It is important to note that tank bags with a lock-IT counter holder cannot be mounted on a basic tanking and vice versa. The compatibility between tanking and counter holder must be guaranteed.
