The Hepco & Becker Tankring Basic is specially designed for the Triumph Speed ​​Triple 1200 RR and RS of the construction years 2021 to 2025. This product enables a safe and easy attachment of a tank bag directly to the motorcycle tank.

Product features

• The tanking guarantees a secure hold of the tank bag, even at high driving speeds.
• Equipped with a mechanical lock, the tank bag can be easily put on and locks up with a clear click noise.
• The unlocking takes place by a belt on the tank bag, which is pulled in the direction of travel to take the backpack.
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) or an entry in the vehicle documents is necessary for the use of the tank bag system.
• A maximum payload of approx. 3 kg is recommended for the tank bag.
• The recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag is 130 km/h.

The tanking basic is delivered with a counter holder, which is mounted on the tank bag depending on the tank shape and handlebar. The fuel lid remains fully accessible even when fueled.

Differences between lock-it and basic tankingen

While the general function and operation of both types of tanking is identical, the basic tanking differs from its purely mechanical locking from Lock-IT fueling, which also uses magnets for centering. Both systems use the same model -specific metal ring.

Further information: A tank bag with Lock-IT counterholder is not compatible with the basic tanking and vice versa. It is important that tank sac countertakers and tanking come from the same system.
