Overview

The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the motorcycle model Kawasaki Ninja 500 of the construction years 2024 to 2025. This accessory enables stable and secure attachment of tank bags of the same manufacturer on the machine.

Installation and function

In addition to the ring, the scope of delivery of the tankring Basic also includes an adaptable counter holder, which is installed depending on the tank shape and the handlebar attack on the tank bag. The fuel lid remains fully accessible even with assembled tanking, which makes it easier to use in everyday life.

Characteristics of the tanking basic

• The tanking ensures a firm seat of the tank bag, even at high driving speeds.
• The mechanical locking enables easy operation: the tank backpack is put on and locked safely.
• For unlocking, a mechanism is activated that is located at the front of the tank bag, whereupon the backpack can be easily removed.
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) or an entry in the vehicle documents is necessary for the use of the tank bag system.
• The recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag is 130 km/h.
• The maximum payload for the tank bag should not exceed about 3 kg.
