The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic was specially developed for the BMW F 850 ​​GS models from the year of construction 2018 to 2023. This product serves to secure tank bags of the same manufacturer on the motorcycle.

Differences to other tanking systems

The basic tanking differs from the lock-it fueling by the lack of magnets to center. Both systems work mechanically, but the basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock, while the Lock-IT fueling also uses magnets for positioning. The base material ring is identical to both variants.

It is important that tank bags and tankers of the same system have to be used because the components are not compatible with each other.

This tanking enables a quick and safe assembly of a Hepco & Becker tank bag and ensures that the fuel lid remains without easily opening even when the ring installed.
