AXP underrun protection for the KTM 890 Adventure R

The AXP underrun protection is assigned to the KTM 890 Adventure R in the entire 2021-2026 model year range. The skid plate protects the lower area of ​​the vehicle and covers the fuel pump. A foam pad in between reduces friction and helps prevent paint chips in this area.

Protection and construction

The revised shape makes it easier to install the KTM fuel pump. The fender is positioned in front of the plate, which prevents the fender from melting. The new design also avoids problems with the front fender. Inside, 4mm thick alloy parts reinforce the modified weld seams.
