Robust AXP underrun protection made of 8 mm PE-HD

The AXP underrun protection protects the lower vehicle area of the KTM 890 Adventure R on demanding tours. The version made of 8 mm thick PE-HD combines a resilient protection concept with a weight of 3.9 kg.

Well thought-out protection concept

The tank shoe covers both sides of the tank including the fuel pump. An integrated intermediate foam reduces friction and prevents paint chips. The protection plate is designed to be installed with the original KTM fuel pump protection. Their revised position prevents contact with the front fender and protects the plastic from melting.

Modified weld seams and 4 mm thick aluminum plates reinforce the construction. On the right side, an integrated opening makes it easier to guide the hose. The design also supports the use of the KTM center stand.
