The PUIG rear seat cowl transforms the 2020 to 2021 Yamaha YZF-R1/M into a sporty single-seater, with distinctive lines inspired by modern racing motorcycles.

Two styling options

The two-piece design allows you to choose the look during installation. A single-piece configuration creates a more understated, exceptionally clean tail profile. Using both elements gives the R1 a more aggressive appearance inspired by MotoGP racing.

Well-designed shape and durable ABS

As a specialist in motorcycle components, PUIG manufactures the seat cowl from premium, 4 mm thick ABS plastic. The component measures 360 mm wide and 385 mm long. Internal channels support a lightweight construction and help reduce the air turbulence generated as air flows around the rider and motorcycle.

Development and manufacturing take place at the PUIG facilities in Montmeló, near the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, using modern technical plastic-forming processes.

Vehicle-specific mounting

The seat cowl clips directly onto the included 3 mm thick aluminum brackets. Once the preferred configuration has been selected, the upper screws can be visually concealed using the adhesive element also provided.
