Protection and maintenance support in one kit

The Spindle Bobbins Kit combines front fork and caliper protection with rear mounts for a work stand. The front bobbins extend laterally beyond the wheel section and can make first contact in the event of an incident to reduce possible damage.

Construction and materials

• Front protection bobbins made from injection molded nylon
• Internal reinforcement of the front bobbins made of aluminum
• Rear paddock stand bobbins made from injection molded nylon
• Inner bushing of the rear bobbins made of stainless steel
• Rolled stainless steel thread on the spindle rod

Maintenance and storage

The rear bobbins are designed for standard work stands with C or V mounts. This allows the rear wheel to be raised for general maintenance or for upright storage.

Assembly and important information

The kit is mounted on the wheel axles to suit the Yamaha XSR700. Because the rear stand bobbins are routed through the wheel axle, they cannot be used to remove the wheel.

The workstand bobbins are designed solely to support the weight of the motorcycle. No person is allowed to sit on the motorcycle while it is raised.
