MALOSSI FLY SYSTEM for Yamaha X-MAX 400 R ABS Momodesign

The MALOSSI FLY SYSTEM combines a reinforced centrifugal clutch with a dynamically balanced clutch bell. Both components are designed as a common system for the scooter drive and connect the FLY CLUTCH with a resilient steel bell (DC04).

Function and properties

The reinforced centrifugal clutch is designed for high demands. These include frequent stop-and-go on steep streets, dense city traffic, long traffic light phases as well as operation with a passenger and at high outside temperatures. The system combines two separately developed MALOSSI quality products in a common version.

Technical data

  • Clutch and clutch bell as FLY SYSTEM
  • Clutch bell made of steel (DC04)
  • Forged from Fe DC04 deep-drawing steel
  • Carbon steel center section made of round material, TIG welded
  • Anti-vibration band welded with a 3-point 120° pattern
  • 100% dynamically balanced
  • Surface hardening by nitriding
  • Clutch bell diameter: ø 160
