License plate holder ACCESS DESIGN Lick Wheel Black for the Yamaha MT-09 ABS

The Lick Wheel license plate holder from ACCESS DESIGN combines compact positioning on the rear wheel with an integrated fender function. It is placed on the wheel axle of the swingarm and, if necessary, takes the place of the aluminum chain tensioning wedge. This means that the function of protection against splash water is retained, while license plates, indicators and license plate lights can be accommodated on the holder.

Function and structure

• The ultra-reinforced mounting is made from 5mm thick steel and stiffens the license plate holder against vibrations.
• The arm is made of 5mm thick aluminum.
• The 3 mm thick aluminum sheet of the fender function is curved to fit the tire and reduces splash water for the driver and front passenger.
• The matt black epoxy coating is resistant to weather and stone chips.
• The holder is suitable for European and international license plates as well as for stick indicators and an approved LED license plate or tail light.

Electrics and practical details

An LED license plate light is included in the kit. A 1 m long wiring harness with heat-shrinkable cable lugs is included for connecting indicators and license plate lights. The original connectors are used for the connection, so that the connection remains separable. The original indicators can be attached by drilling a second hole. A included closure is used instead of the original license plate holder and protects against the ingress of particles.
