Description
Complete RAD conversion kit for the BMW R 1200 GS LC
This unpainted RAD kit is designed for the 2013 to 2016 BMW R 1200 GS LC. It completely redesigns the tank and front area, combining lightweight fairing parts with functional components for radiator airflow and the airbox.
Design and Function
- Tank covers for a distinctive look and altered ergonomics.
- Very lightweight ABS side panels.
- Radiator deflectors that divert hot air from the radiator and keep it away from the rider's legs.
- Redesigned front element for a narrower, more tapered front end.
- Stainless steel side protection elements that influence airflow at the airbox snorkel.
- Airbox snorkel replacing the original airflow restrictors; according to the manufacturer, this increases performance in the mid-range.

- Sandblasted and electropolished stainless steel side protection elements.
- CNC-machined air intakes made from solid Ergal with an anodized finish.
- Laser-cut stainless steel mesh and lateral “Unit Garage” logo on the aluminum air intakes.
- Mount for the original R 1200 GS logo on the new front element.
