The RAD kit in Avus Black and Matt Black combines newly shaped fairing parts with functional components for airflow and intake. This gives the front a slimmer, more tapered appearance, while ABS, stainless steel and CNC-machined aluminium create a coordinated overall look.

Fairing and airflow

• Tank covers in Avus Black with graphics and transparent protection
• Lightweight side panels and centre cover made from matt-black ABS
• Redesigned front section with side mounts for the original R 1200 GS logos
• Radiator deflectors direct hot radiator air away from the rider’s legs
• Airbox snorkels replace the original airflow restrictors and increase performance in the mid-range
• Stainless steel side elements generate downforce to increase airflow around the airbox snorkel

Installation and compatibility

The fairing elements feature the required holes and are prepared for quick installation. Fasteners, rubber components, screws and brackets are included. The model year and the correct motorcycle version must be considered when making your selection.
