Black tank covers in classic PD style

This lightweight pair of tank covers gives the BMW R1200 GS a distinctive vintage look reminiscent of the legendary PD version. The matte black covers are made from special resin with carbon-fiber reinforcements and finished with graphics and a transparent protective layer.

Installation and Function

The covers are supplied ready for installation with mounting holes, screws, rubber buffers, a rear mounting bracket, and machined bushings for the front mounting points. The right side panel can be removed quickly for air-filter maintenance. The rear mounting bracket also features a slot for attaching a tank bag.

Important Installation Notes

• The three upper M5 clips used to join the two covers are transferred from the motorcycle.
• The supplied M5 x 12 mm button-head screws are inserted into these clips.
• The original pointed M5 screws must not be used, as they may damage the tank covers.
• The original side-mounted R1200-GS logos are transferred from the motorcycle or obtained separately through the official spare-parts network.

Compatibility

Suitable for BMW R1200 GS and R 120 G/S ADV from model years 2004 to 2012. Not compatible with the original GS seat. The appropriate version must be selected according to model years 2004–2007 or 2008–2012.
