MALOSSI cylinder kit Ø 63 for LML Star 150 Classic

The MALOSSI cylinder kit Ø 63 is designed for the Lml Star 150 Classic built between 2013 and 2017. The bore of 63 mm combined with the stroke of 57 mm results in a displacement of 178 cm³. The kit has an aluminum cylinder and a two-ring piston with a diameter of 63 mm.

Revised flow routing

The internal fluid dynamics areas have been redesigned. Profiled overflow channels align the input flow and support high turbulence in the combustion area. The rear transfer channels work with a double slope profile (1-2). The outlet also has a revised profile for guiding the gas towards the exhaust.

Piston and cylinder head

The piston is designed for the high operating temperatures in the combustion chamber. Its profiling reduces the coupling play between piston and cylinder and supports consistent guidance. Two piston rings ensure that the piston slides and seals against the pressures generated in the combustion chamber.

The hemispherical cylinder head has newly designed cooling fins and an inclined, yet central position of the spark plug. Two centering bushings support the connection between the cylinder head and cylinder; The head and cylinder are separated by an O-ring.
