The PROX cast piston is designed as a replacement piston for the KTM FREERIDE 250 R in the 2014-2017 model year range. Its cast aluminum design and standard piston compression are based on the specified engine data of this 2T model.

Function and execution

The special alloy of PROX pistons is designed to minimize friction and thereby support reliable operation. The curved piston has a MoS2 coating on the skirt. This version combines the specified piston shape with a coated running surface in the skirt area.
