The BREMBO Hypure brake caliper on the right is intended for the KTM 990 RC R from 2025. Its radial design and one-piece construction combine a clear technical focus with precise integration into the front braking system.

Function and construction

The asymmetrical Hypure design was designed to reduce weight while maintaining rigidity compared to reference calipers of the same application and deformation level. The design achieves a weight reduction of 10%. The patented spring/pad/pin system with a specially developed contact surface minimizes the residual torque. Advanced heat transfer supports consistent braking performance.
