The Excel rim is made of 7000 aluminum and is made in Japan. The hub is machined from a single piece of 6082 billet aluminum. Koyo bearings complement the wheel construction. Central tube and spacers are made of 7075 aluminum.

Depending on the application, the wheel comes with 32 or 36 spokes. The spokes are made of special stainless steel and, according to the product information, are 30% stronger than OEM spokes. The production is done by hand.
