VERTEX GP Racer Choice forged pistons for Husqvarna FE 250

The VERTEX GP Racer Choice forged piston is designed for the HUSQVARNA FE 250 from the 2017-2023 model year range. Its forged aluminum design combines the “Racing” piston compression developed for racing with a design tailored to use in performance-oriented engines.

Race-oriented piston design

The shape of the piston crown has been optimized to influence the flame front and to achieve the maximum permissible compression ratio. Reinforcements stiffen the piston structure and reduce piston crown deformation under full load. A surface treatment serves to reduce friction.
