The BOYESEN wheel membrane block is a model-specific intake system developed for the Honda CR 250 R (ME 03) built in 2004. Its design combines a flow-optimized inner surface with coordinated membrane plates and thereby supports more efficient guidance of the intake air.

Function and construction

• The block is made of 100% aluminum.
• The optimized inner surface and the 4-way diffuser serve to optimize the air flows and avoid pressure losses.

Technical features

BOYESEN combines several development approaches for this inlet system: Aerodynamic Surface Optimization for the inner surfaces, Model-Specific Reed Petal Tensioning for model-specific tuning, Material Fuel Resistance through hydrocarbon-resistant materials and Multi-Stage Reed Timing with several opening stages of the membrane plates.

The design of the membrane blocks is aimed at optimized intake air flows, higher efficiency, improved performance and better pulling power on the assigned machine.
