The BOYESEN wheel membrane block was developed for the Hm CRE 125 SM built in 2003. Its intake system combines optimized internal routing with model-specific membrane plates and thereby supports a controlled intake air flow.

  • Optimized inner surface for guiding the intake air
  • 4-way diffuser to optimize air flows and avoid pressure losses
  • Model-specific membrane plates with variable flexibility
  • Aerospace-grade carbon membrane plates
  • Rubber-coated and hydrocarbon-resistant membrane plates

Design of the inlet system

The design uses several technical approaches: Aerodynamic Surface Optimization for the interior surfaces, Model-Specific Reed Petal Tensioning for model-specific tuning and Multi-Stage Reed Timing with several opening levels. The hydrocarbon-resistant materials of the membrane plates are designed to increase the life of the seals.

Assembly and vehicle assignment

Intake connection and fastening clamps are included in the scope of delivery. The membrane block is intended for direct assembly without modification.
