The Evotech brake lever protection kit in the road version is intended to prevent unintentional actuation of the brake lever due to impacts or contact. For a consistent design, a suitable Evotech handlebar end weight is included for the clutch side.

Assembly instructions

The modular, model-specific design is tailored to the handlebar ends of the BMW R 1250 RT. The kit may only be used together with the original throttle tube and the original handlebar grip.

After assembly, it must be checked that the gas has the correct play and that it opens and closes completely and smoothly. The throttle function must not be impaired by the brake lever protection.
