Comprehensive care for canvas, leather and split leather

The maintenance set combines several coordinated products for cleaning, care and preparation of accessories, bags and jackets made of canvas, smooth leather or split leather. Which product is used should be decided depending on the respective material and based on the associated application instructions.

Scope of delivery

• Cotton bag with Unit Garage logo
• Waterproofing spray
• Block of solid wax
• A tube of color cream in black or brown, contents 50 ml
• Soft cleaning brush with wooden handle
• Brush with brass bristles and wooden handle for split leather
• Cleaning disc, 100 × 60 mm and 8 mm thick
• Microfiber cloth

Waterproofing spray

The spray is intended for the regular treatment of accessories, bags and jackets made of leather, canvas or split leather.

• If necessary, clean the item with warm, clear water.
• The product can be used on wet or dry material.
• Shake the bottle and spray evenly from a distance of 10 to 15 cm.
• Finishing with a clean, damp cloth improves distribution and reduces waste.
• For optimal results, allow to dry for 12 hours.

Attention: Keep out of the reach of children. Avoid eye and prolonged skin contact. Use only in a well-ventilated area.

Solid wax

For regularly used accessories, bags or jackets, the manufacturer recommends resealing them at least once a year. A soft cloth or sponge and a heat source are required for processing.

• Remove dirt and sand and clean the material with a sponge and cold water.
• Do not use soap or cleaning agents.
• Do not machine wash, dry clean, iron or tumble dry.
• Temper the piece to be treated in a warm room, in the sun or near a heat source.
• Carefully spread wax with a cloth or sponge, paying particular attention to seams and folds.
• Rub in thoroughly and avoid excess wax.
• For an even finish, heat the waxed material with a hairdryer and then hang it in a warm place overnight.

Color cream for smooth leather

The black or brown cream is used to cover scratches and scuffs on smooth leather. It must not be used on split leather.

• Clean the area to be treated.
• Massage the cream into the leather with a sponge.
• Let dry for 15 minutes.
• Polish with a soft cloth.

Brushes and cleaning disc

• The soft brush enables even and scratch-free brushing.
• The brass brush is intended for cleaning and caring for split leather.
• The cleaning disc removes glue and sticky residue from leather or split leather. To do this, apply light pressure over the area and then clean with a soft cloth.
