The TECNIUM air filter keeps dust, sand and dirt away from the engine during racing. As a result, it protects mechanical components such as pistons, cylinders and valves from foreign bodies, while maintaining the air permeability that is important for engine operation.

Filter structure and function

The air filter works with a two-stage foam structure. The upper, open-pored layer holds back larger dirt particles. A second layer of denser foam filters finer dust particles and allows air to continue to flow through. The flexible seal supports an even contact surface with the air filter housing.
