This mounting kit is required to mount the AL18 plate for using the original BMW aluminum top case on a unit garage luggage rack with four attachment points.

• For mounting the AL18 plate on unit garage luggage racks
• Allows you to use the original BMW aluminum top case with the AL18 plate
• Intended exclusively for luggage racks with four attachment points

Important compatibility note

The mounting kit is not compatible with unit garage racks without the four required mounting points.
