AXP Enduro Xtrem underrun protection for Sherco 250 SE F-R Racing

The AXP Enduro Xtrem underbody protection is designed for the Sherco 250 SE F-R Racing from the 2014-2015 model year range. The construction protects the engine area and extends from the frame to the bottom of the footrests. This means that the protective plate covers a wide area on the underside of the vehicle.

Well thought-out protective construction

The underrun protection is made of 8 mm thick High Density Polyethylene (HDPE). The material and manufacturing process were developed for this use. The design is extended up to the shock absorber deflection and therefore also takes this area into account. Below the deflection, a double thickness of material provides additional reinforcement; The corresponding reinforcement part is included in the scope of delivery.

Tested in extreme enduro use

The underrun protection was tested and approved by Wade Young of the Sherco Factory Team after a year of testing under “Hard/Extreme” conditions. This documents the design for demanding operating conditions.
