AXP Enduro Xtrem underrun protection for KTM 300 XC

The AXP Enduro Xtrem underrun protection protects the entire engine area and extends from the frame to the bottom of the footrests. Its extended version also covers the shock absorber linkage. The protective surface therefore includes central areas on the underside of the vehicle, which are particularly relevant in demanding enduro applications.

Function and construction

• Made from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) with a material thickness of 8 mm.
• Extended design to protect the shock absorber linkage.
• Double thickness of material below the linkage for additional reinforcement.
• The reinforcement part for this area is included.
• New design and new manufacturing process.

The continuous design combines protection of the engine area with a cover from the frame to the bottom of the footrests. The underrun protection was tested and approved by Wade Young (Sherco Factory Team) after a year of testing under “Hard / Extreme” conditions.

Vehicle assignment

The underrun protection is intended for the KTM 300 XC built between 2019 and 2022. This assignment enables a targeted selection for the vehicle mentioned and the entire model year range.

Factual note

The construction combines 8 mm thick HDPE with double reinforcement under the shock absorber linkage. This means that the protected areas and the design of the component are clearly geared towards the described use in the enduro sector.
