BOYESEN wheel membrane block for KTM FREERIDE 250 R

The BOYESEN wheel membrane block is developed as a model-specific intake system for the KTM FREERIDE 250 R from the 2014-2017 model year range. Its design combines an optimized internal surface with a 4-way diffuser that directs the intake air flows in a targeted manner and reduces pressure losses.

Function and construction

The membrane block is made of 100% aluminum. The membrane plates have model-specific, variable flexibility and are made of aviation-grade carbon. In addition, they have a rubber coating and are made of hydrocarbon-resistant material. This supports a longer service life for the seals.

Technical features

The BOYESEN inlet systems use several design approaches: Aerodynamic Surface Optimization for the inner surfaces, Model-Specific Reed Petal Tensioning for the model-specific design of the membrane plates, Fuel Resistance in the materials used and Multi-Stage Reed Timing with several opening levels.

Vehicle assignment and assembly

The membrane block fits the KTM FREERIDE 250 R, built between 2014 and 2017. Intake connection and fastening clamps are included in the scope of delivery. The assembly takes place directly without modification.
