Kawasaki KX 500 (KX 500 C) [1987] - Wheel diaphragm block - Kawasaki KX500
Description
BOYESEN wheel membrane block for the Kawasaki KX 500
The BOYESEN wheel membrane block was developed specifically for the Kawasaki KX 500 (KX 500 C) built in 1987. Its design is designed for optimized intake air guidance and model-specific coordination of the membrane plates.
Function and construction
The membrane block is made of 100% aluminum and has an optimized internal surface. A 4-way diffuser supports the guidance of the air flows and serves to avoid pressure losses in the intake area. The membrane plates work with variable flexibility and are designed specifically for each model.
- 100% aluminum
- Optimized internal surface
- 4-way diffuser to optimize airflows
- Model-specific membrane plates with variable flexibility
- Aerospace-grade carbon membrane plates
- Rubber-coated, hydrocarbon-resistant membrane plates
Assembly and scope of delivery
The scope of delivery includes the intake manifold and the fastening clamps. The membrane block is intended for direct assembly without modification.
Vehicle assignment
Suitable for the Kawasaki KX 500 (KX 500 C), built in 1987.
The hydrocarbon-resistant design of the membrane plates supports a longer service life of the seals. The intake systems developed by BOYESEN combine model-specific membrane tension, adapted inner surfaces and several opening levels of the membrane plates in order to specifically optimize intake air flows, torque and elasticity of the engine.
