The TECNIUM air filter protects important engine components of the KTM 450 EXC from dust, sand and dirt. During racing, the filter system keeps foreign bodies away from the engine and at the same time enables optimal air permeability.

Function and filter structure

The multi-stage structure combines the retention of coarse and finest particles with the required air flow for the engine. The top layer made of open-cell foam retains dirt particles. A second layer of denser foam filters the finest dust particles and allows air to flow through.
