The VERTEX Race Evolution cast piston is designed for the GasGas TXT 125 GP from 2022. As a piston for 2-stroke applications, it combines standard piston compression with clearly defined dimensions for the targeted selection of the appropriate replacement part.

Function and execution

The piston is made of aluminum and is designed as a cast version. The reduced top edge of the piston and the nitrided steel rings are part of the Race Evolution version. A MoS2 coating with specifically designed pockets supports the consistent interaction of piston and cylinder.
