MALOSSI MHR Ø167 fan for VESPower ignition

The MALOSSI MHR fan with Ø 167 mm was developed for forced ventilation systems with VESPower ignition. Its design combines a low component weight with a wing geometry designed for the air flow, thereby supporting controlled heat management in performance-oriented engines.

Function and construction

Instead of 16 main blades, the fan has 12 main and 12 auxiliary blades. The optimized curvature of the main wings is designed for effective airflow. This design maintains cooling performance with a reduced number of blades and is suitable for speeds above 9000 rpm.

The fan is assigned to the Vespa PX E Arcobaleno 125, built between 1981 and 1997. Installation is carried out exclusively with a VESPower ignition.

Execution and instructions

The diamond-cut mounting area supports adhesion to the case and helps reduce vibration. The solid aluminum supports heat dissipation and remains dimensionally stable even at high temperatures. This reduces additional vibrations caused by temperature-related deformations.
