The NEWFREN Pro Race steel and friction disc kit is intended for the KTM 150 XC W in the full 2019-2024 model year range. The Pro Race Line combines friction discs and steel discs to create a coordinated clutch solution for use under demanding operating conditions.

Friction material and function

The friction material mainly consists of cellulose, resins, carbon and other components. The material design supports a high coefficient of friction and low compressibility. The special disc design improves oil flow and therefore enables more efficient work. The combination of material and design increases the stability of the pads and the performance stability of the clutch.

The Pro Race clutches were developed in collaboration with renowned and successful teams from the Superbike, Moto 3 and MXGP world championships. NEWFREN classifies this series as a high-quality racing product.
